Your influence extends beyond warmth and competence.
The Influence Index™ examines 11 dimensions of perception, reputation, and professional relationships—including trust, brand clarity, and social capital.
Surveys and interviews bring in others’ perspectives. A personalized report, an action plan, and two private sessions help you connect the findings to your goals.
Explore what the Influence Index™ measuresAbout this reflection
Each score is the average of four ratings on a 1–5 scale. Warmth averages friendly, warm, good-natured, and sincere. Competence averages competent, confident, capable, and skillful. There is no combined influence score.
Items, response-scale endpoints, and averaging approach adapted from Cuddy et al. (2009), Stereotype content model across cultures, Appendix A. The original research studied societal perceptions of groups, not this professional self-assessment. The reflection on status is also informed by Alison Fragale’s Likeable Badass, which uses warmth and assertiveness.
This adapted self-reflection is not a validated assessment or an Influence Index™ result. Scores are not compared with population benchmarks, and differences are not tests of statistical significance.
